Middle and High School 2012 Summer Science and Technology Workshops
Summer 2012 promises to be a summer of fun and learning at the San Diego Supercomputer Center on the campus of the University of California, San Diego. We are offering an array of workshops from geoscience to programming to animation to app creation to Maya and 3D Modeling and much more!. Workshops are open to students in middle and high school but please see each individual workshop description as some workshops are specific to high school students only. UCSD Career Experiences for High School Students 2012 Internship Opportunities
For the second year, UCSD launches an exciting volunteer internship program for high school students entitled Career Experience for High School Students (CEHS). As part of this program, students will be paired with a UCSD mentor and will work as part of a team dedicated to a particular area of campus employment. The San Diego Supercomputer Center's Education Group Participates in the San Diego Science and Engineering Festival for the Third Straight Year
The SDSC Education Group had a great time at the 3rd annual San Diego Science and Engineering Festival this year, and for the third straight year we were still the only ones with a fully 3D stereoscopic display! Some day others will, too, but for now we will feel special.

ComPASS: Computing Principles for All Students' Success
The University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University have teamed up to deliver an exciting new curriculum in San Diego county: the Computing Principles for All Students’ Success (ComPASS) Project. ComPASS will build local capacity for teaching the proposed new Advanced Placement CS Principles (CSP) course. ComPASS will create novel curricula and methodology content for teacher profession development.
